The Mount Vernon Council of Citizens’ Associations (MVCCA)’s Budget & Finance Committee will be hosting a “Presentation on the Fairfax County Retirement System” at our September committee meeting. Please join us on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 7PM at the Mount Vernon Government Center (2511 Parkers Ln, Alexandria, VA 22306). The first part of the meeting will be an informational section from the Director of the Fairfax County Department of Management and Budget and/or his staff who will be presenting a PowerPoint presentation about the county’s retirement system. Q&A will follow. The rest of the meeting will be a discussion about various issues including Embark financing, Rt1 revitalization, and the cost of undergrounding of utilizes.
